Chrissy, Hammer Coffee co-founder and roastess with the mostess, grew up as a YMCA kid. All that time spent at summer camp kumbaya-ing her little heart out had a lasting effect. That’s why we’re all about supporting our local community and encouraging people to play outside.
So, go ride your bike, jump in puddles, throw a few snowballs. When you need a great cup of coffee, we have you covered.
What a Long Strange Trip it’s Be(a)n
Our roots are in Whistler. Hammer Coffee founders Chrissy and Mat met in a Whister cafe in 1999 and dreamed of creating a coffee roastery ever since. Fast forward to today, we’re privileged to roast coffee for an army of coffee-loving Sea to Sky locals and companies, right here in Whistler.
A Lifetime of Learning in Every Cup
From upstart coffee fincas in Vinales, Cuba to hipster Melbourne cafes, we’ve travelled the world learning about coffee and listening to the people behind the perfect cup.
Our big realisation? We’ve barely scratched the surface. There’s a lifetime of learning in every cup of coffee.
